Groups discussion

I got to admit, this group discussion was fantastic and well worth it. Even though I didn't fully understand the book, the kids in my discussion group were able to fill in the blanks for me, and help me understand better. We should continue to do these, not only on books, but on movies and certain lessons that involve a story.

Drum project

Well teach, I told you I would never like music, but I guess I am wrong. This drum project where we take native american instruments and paint over them has be extremely fun. I enjoyed changing the beats around, and just experimenting with the different types of instruments.

Machine project

So as requested, we did a project revolving around our key terms. We expect our extra credit...a butt load of it at that. This was not an easy project and we spent hours and hours on this. Although I must say, this was so much fun! I now have a better understanding of all our terms and how machines function.

Since Mr. Daniels wants us to post on this blog about what our assignments, and what we think about the class, I decided to show this video. My little brother uses smartboards in his class, and I think it would greatly help us. It would not only increase student involvement, but would allow for us to show our work in front of the class. If you could possibly get this placed in our room, then that would be fantastic!

Mentos assignment

My assignment for science class was a success. I never expected something so amzaing to happen with things i eat and drink everyday. If my parents didn't tell me how dangerous it was to try placing both in my mouth, then i would have gave it a go. I can't wait until our next project.

Enjoying the classroom

I am enjoying this classroom for the most part, but there are a few things i would change. We should have some sort of reward system when we constantly follow directions, or achieve something. It would give us a better reason to try harder. I think this class is fair for the most part, but sometimes (I hope Billy can't read this) I feel like Billy gets treated better than me. He gets away with everything!

My Project

Our science project was a blast. Thanks to your superb instructions, I didn't even need to have my parents help me. Science is starting to become my favorite subject.
